George Fleckenstein's Obituary
George Fleckenstein, age 76 of Foster City, died on November 14, 2015 at his Lord Nelson home. George was born July 19, 1939, in Queens, New York. He lived in California for most of his lifetime. He attended Venice High School in Santa Monica. In 1957, he joined the Navy Service to serve his country. He continued his education at University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He was a member of the 1963 USC National Track and Field Championship Team. He was a proud Trojan. He graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine.For 23 years, he worked at Ferrero, Candy and Confectionery Company. He was the Sales Manager responsible for distribution to military bases. He was nicknamed, “Candy Man”.He is survived by his loving wife, “Annie” Jeonghee and many friends and family. He will be missed by all.There will be a celebration of life ceremony at 11:00 AM at Skylawn Funeral Home.
