Fred Hsing-Fu Lin's Obituary
Fred Hsing-Fu Lin, a devoted Christian, resident of Sunnyvale, California, passed away peacefully with his beloved family on June 29, 2021 at the age of 78. He suffered from a stroke with complications. He was born on October 7, 1942, the second son to his father Hsin Cheng Lin and mother Jin Yuh Lin. On August 21, 1970, Fred married the love his life, Grace Hsiu-Mei Lin and had two sons, David and Peter. They emigrated from Taiwan and started their business, a custom jewelry store, which he had poured his heart and soul into. He played an integral role at his church and was an inspiration to many. Fred also focused his time as Principal at Evergreen Academy, a Taiwanese educational school designed to enhance the quality of life for seniors through lectures to support the Taiwanese American community. Fred Hsing-Fu was revered by all who knew him and highly loved by his peers. Everyone knew him as a kind, outgoing, and caring person with an open heart. He truly put into perspective and lived his value to “love thy neighbor” and would never refuse to help people in need. He was kind with a generous spirit and a friend to many. He was a great father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He will be forever in our hearts, forever loved and missed. We find solace knowing Fred Hsing-Fu Lin is finally at peace with Jesus Christ and reunited with the love of his life, his beloved Grace.
