Kaui Kahaku
We have wonderful memories of Uncle Fred. He was soft spoken, always willing to help, and great working the BBQ grill. He and Aunty Luana were the kūpuna of our hālau! Together they were at all our performances, parties, competitions, fundraisers...teaching/guiding us in ways of aloha. They always came with filled ice chests and Uncle Fred was the kitchen crew, set up crew and the clean up crew. Most of all he was filled with so much aloha, never expecting any praise or recognition for all that he did. He and Aunty Luana are greatly missed, but knowing that they are together again in Ke Akua's loving arms brings us much peace.
