Franciscus Wu's Obituary
Franciscus Wu passed away after a year-long battle with lung cancer on May 12, 2020 at the age of 63 at her home in Milpitas, CA.
Franciscus was born in Rangoon, Myanmar on February 27, 1957. She graduated from the Rangoon Arts and Science University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and worked as a Quality Assurance Technician. On July 12, 1990 she married Daniel Liu in San Jose, CA. On June 18, 1992, she welcomed her son, Arthur Liu, into her life.
Franciscus was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed exercising and gardening, and traveled abroad once a year, visiting places such as Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, and her home country, Myanmar.
Franciscus is survived by her mother, Mee Ngan Chow; her siblings, Kimberly Lim, Paula Wu, William Woo and Yaing Wu; her husband, Daniel Liu; and her son, Arthur Liu. Franciscus will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by friends and family.
