Francis S.K. Kim's Obituary
Francis S. K. Kim 87, passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2013. Born in Wahiawa, Hawaii, he was a resident of San Francisco for 59 years. Francis served as a paratrooper during WWII and traveled the world as a merchant seaman for 44 years. He was a devoted and loving husband of 49 years to Betty Leong Kim who preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Raymond (Jeannie); step-daughter, Cynthia Hiroshima; step-son, James S. Kim (Pattye); sisters, Elsie Kim and Alice Kim; grandchildren, Kyle and Alexandra; step-grandchildren, Kimberly Arakaki, Bradley Chong, Leslie Silva, Terri Hiroshima and Ryan Kim. He was preceded in death by step-daughter, Stephanie Kim Chong. Family and Friends are invited to a memorial Service on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Skylawn Memorial Park, Highway 92 at Skyline Boulevard, San Mateo, CA.
