Frances M. BiggsNovember 16, 1906- August 7, 2011Frances M Biggs passed away at her home in Burlingame on August 7, 2011. She was 104. Born to Robert and Minna Black on their ranch in San Jose on November 16, 1906, she was educated in San Jose graduating from the San Jose Normal School. She was a pianist and elementary school teacher. In 1933 she married Albert Biggs, also a teacher and a sports coach. The family including two young sons moved to Burlingame in 1942 where she lived until her death. Frances and her husband enjoyed many years of camping during the summers in northern California and took several trips around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert and son Robert. She is survived by son Don and his wife Ruth, daughter-in-law Jill Biggs, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.Mrs. Biggs services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Light at Skylawn Memorial Park. .
