Florence D. Selby,”Ma”,”Nanna”, “Aunty Flo”,”Mother Flo” “Flory”, 63, Redwood City,passed on Tuesday, Nov. 10th,2009, at her residence.Aunty was born July 23, 1946 in West Virginia to Helen Marie Moran & Clarence Marquis. Reared up in the Bay Area by Her beloved Daddy, Donald E. Bendele Sr & later in her adult life blessed with Margie Lemanski as a mom & friend. She first married Glen Crazon, after his passing she married Allen Selby, Later to divorce. She had three children from her marriages. Sebastion Lee Crazon (deceased), Shawn Michael Selby (deceased) & Roxanne “Rockie” Marie Leventon of Lookout, Ca. For many years she helped with the family business;Bendele Janitorial Services. The last twenty years of her life she blessed many with day care for many children. Often payment could be just love. She was a member of ASPCA, NA & AA. A Devote Catholic & Loved and Believed in our Christ Jesus. You always knew your place with her and never was she afraid to tell ya what she thought!!She is survived & missed by her daughter, Roxanne “Rockie” Marie Leventon, grandaughter,Meagan Marie Palmer, Daly City, mom, Margie Lemanski,Rocklin, Brothers John Joseph Bendele,unknown, David Roy Bendele, Atascadero, nephews, Donald Edward Bendele III, Denair, Vincent Bendele, Arizona, James Cox Bendele, Oeregon ,Shawn Danielle Paul, Bismark, N.Dakota, Wayne Eugene Schultz, Salem, Il, adam Miles Schultz, Galesburg, Ilnieces, Kim Marie Bendele Schaefer (Leon) Decatur, Il Rachel Bendele, Chicago, Il, Stacie Louise Bendele, Charlestown, Ind, Great nephew, Terry Lee Schaefer Okinawa, Japan, great niece Tiffany Marie Schaefer, Hampton, Virginia, Great Uncle Roman, San Pablo, Many cousins, inlaws Allen & Sharon Martin Galesburg, Il, Many friends & her beloved felines; Bussy, Peanut & Max A Million.Predeceased by; Parents, Spouses, Son’s, brothers, Donald Edward Bendele Jr.(2001), Danielle Lee Bendele (2007), Gene Raymond Bendele (1996) Private Cremation Rites. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Dec 6th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m, at St. Marks Catholic Church, 325 Marine Veiw Ave, Belmont. Officiated by Father Al, with luncheon to follow at the Community Center in Heron Court Apt.Memorial donations can be made to the family in c/o Life Mark Center. In lieu of flowers please donate to ASPCA.
