Felicia Tanedo Maran, age 85, was born on November 20, 1934 in Tarlac, Philippines. Her late parents’ names are Francisco Tanedo and Arcadia Balagtas-Tanedo, and she is the third oldest child out of six siblings.
She went to high school at the College of the Holy Spirit, then graduated from the University of San Thomas in Manila. She continued her education as a scholar in Tokyo, Japan and met the love of her life, her late husband, Michael, and they went on to marry on June 28, 1957 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Tokyo.
During her married life and as a mother of four to Debbie, Bobby, Vanessa, and Christina, she settled in Thailand, and became a high school Math teacher and eventually, a Home Economic teacher at Ruam Rudee International School in Bangkok.
In 1975, she, her husband, and children migrated to California, and became a citizen of the United States on October 20, 1981. Her first job was working as a Media Ad Agent with San Francisco Chronicle for 15 years, and during her professional career, became a licensed Real Estate Agent.
She was well-versed in cooking, marketing and real estate, avid tennis fan, movie buff, and world traveler.
She is survived by her three children, Bobby, Vanessa, Christina, and their spouses, Erlinda, Scott, Joe, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
