I found this announcement by accident today. I was so sorry to hear of Fariba's passing. I worked with her for a few months in 2005, but she left a deep impression on me and my new wife (now married 20 years). She gave me advice that I remember everyday, which is that marriage is a garden and that I will always need to "water the garden". She loved her family. RIP.
