Eva Armada's Obituary
Eva Salazar Armada died peacefully on May 25, 2020 in San Francisco. She was 96. Eva was born March 18, 1924 in Oakdale, California to Angelita Orta and Albert Salazar. On November 16, 1941 Eva married Ariston "Art" Armada. In 1942 they moved to San Francisco and together raised four children. Eva was a lifetime member of the lloilo Circle and longstanding member of the Filipino American community in San Francisco. She spent much of her time organizing senior dances and other social events. She enjoyed singing, dancing and socializing. Eva will be remembered for her laugh, her beauty and her sense of style. Her family will remember her as a force of nature, a pillar of strength and a source of unconditional love. Eva is survived by her loving son, Ronny, her grand-children, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her devoted caregiver. She is preceded in death by her husband, Art, and their children, Susie, Sonny and Tina.
