Estrellita Navarro's Obituary
On September 18, 2018 at 1:50am, Estrellita Navarro gracefully went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Estrellita, also known as “Let or Lita” to most, was born to Estrella and Thomas Lawan on June 21, 1958 in Manila, Philippines. She graduated from the prestigious Philippine Women’s University where she later on became a professor. She married Ernani Navarro, also known as “Nani” on June 28, 1987 at Malate Catholic Church in Manila, Philippines. For the past 25 years, they have both served at Family Christian Fellowship Church. She loved and protected her church and played many roles such as Community Outreach Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Leader, and of course Church Event Organizer, just to name a few. But her most beloved role is teaching and choreographing dances and performance for events.Let loved to dance, sing, swim, teach, and cook. She would always make sure that everyone around her was fed. She had a heart for others, especially her family. Let and Nani also volunteered their time to CCMP (Coalition of Concerned Medical Professional). She is survived by her husband and their two kids, Nina and Carlo. She courageously battled stomach cancer for about a year, never losing faith and hope. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the medical staff, friends, church members, and family who stood by our side.Let was loveable, faithful, and a friend and sister to all. Just like the star in her name, she was a light to everyone she met. She is now dancing in heaven, fully healed and restored by our God.Thank you for all the love, support, and prayers you have showered us throughout our journey. You have a very special place in our hearts and we know that Let’s legacy will continue to live in all of us. From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank God for your friendship. May God continue to bless you. – Love always, the Navarros.
