Eric Ellers' Obituary
Eric Bruno Ellers was born in Tientsin China on January 29, 1934 to Irene and Alexis Ellers. They all moved to San Francisco in 1951. He began a career with the airlines that lasted 45 years, 36 of them with American Airlines. Married for 58 years to Betty they lived in Redwood City. Eric was a great father to Elaine and Ken (Melissa) and a wonderful grandfather to Adam (Gina), Anthony, Erica and Christopher. He also enjoyed spending time with his 2 great-grandchildren. Eric spent several years serving as a Boy Scout leader of troop 999 in Redwood City. He was a life member of Redwood City Elks Lodge 1991. After retirement, Eric worked with the California Highway Patrol as a Senior Volunteer. A funeral service will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park HWY 92 and Skyline Blvd, San Mateo on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:00am.
