She was an amazing cook and enjoyed singing, painting, and gardening. As the matriarch of a close-knit family, she regularly hosted gatherings with her delicious home cooking. Her warm smile, beautiful voice and disarming demeanor could brighten anyone’s day. Her blooming rose garden was the pride of her dedication and the talk of her street. A devout Christian, she combined her love for the Lord and passion for singing, served on church choir for more than 10 years. She lovingly cared for her grandchildren when they were young and has been meticulously caring for her husband in the past few years. She was taken to heaven to be with her Lord at Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto, California with family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ho-sun, sister Hsien-pei, daughters (& son-in-laws) Ellen (Alan), Eling (Makoto), Yunling (Kevin), and Huiling (Frank). She had 5 grandchildren. May her smile and loving memories live forever in our hearts.
