Dear Elva,
I have the fondest memories of your wit and your dazzling smile -it was always a bit mischievous and fun!! In the evening of your passing on to the next life, I had to privilege to be with you in your home. I held your hand as Lucrecia and Jay were getting familiar with how best to keep you comfortable through the guidance of the hospice nurse. But in a short time Lucrecia and Jay were at your side to tend to your every need -so I said a special prayer to the Holy Spirit and left the three of you together. A few hours later you decided it was time to go to heaven to see the rest of your family. You will be missed but at the same time, I believe you will always be nearby in spirit. You leave behind a wonderful daughter my dear, dear friend Lucrecia and her precious son Jay --a young man and wonderful father himself --both of whom you inspired to be kind and loving.
