Edward Gerald Evans' Obituary
Edward (Ted) Gerald Evans, aged 86, of Daly City, CA died peacefully of natural causes on May 14, 2023 at Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco, CA. Ted was the husband of Marilyn Reich Evans with whom he shared 26 years of marriage.

Ted was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather. He supported his family through many accomplishments, difficulties, and challenges. After retirement, Ted enjoyed his twilight years with his current wife, Marilyn Reich Evans whom he married in 1997.
Ted was very passionate about his time volunteering for the non-profit, San Francisco City Guides, leading historical and architectural walking tours of the city, and later as a docent at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA. In 2010, the City of San Francisco showed Ted their appreciation for his “steadfast service to San Francisco Parks Trust since 1996” with an awards ceremony and commemorative bench in the historic Golden Gate Park in the middle of the city.
