Dorothy "Dottie" Willis' Obituary
Dorothy “Dottie” Willis, a resident of San Mateo, CA, passed away on January 9th, 2019. Dottie was born in San Francisco and was a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area.Dottie is the mother of four boys, and strongly supported her four sons as a single mother. Robert, the eldest, was a male nurse for 30 years and predeceased her. David, her second son, is a university professor. Larry, her third son is a retired postal worker, and Ron, her youngest is a heating and cooling specialist.In her younger years she worked as a secretary at the San Francisco Airport. After her children grew up, she worked as a nurses aide for nearly twenty years. In her free time she enjoyed photography, reading religious history, and listening to the music of the 1940s and 1950s.In her golden years she found great happiness and made many friends after joining the congregation of the Central Peninsula Church.Please see the Services tab of this page for service details.
