Dorothy Landucci's Obituary
Dorothy will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was born on September 13, 1924 to Milton and Lillian Brady in San Francisco. She met the love of her life, Eto (Ed) and was married on August 23, 1942. Their first child Edward was born in June of 1944, while Ed was serving in the Army Air Corp from 1943 until 1946. It was hard for Dorothy to be separated from her husband while caring for their son.In January of 1954, Dorothy gave birth to their second child Susan In San Francisco. In 1956, the family moved to San Bruno where they resided until 1987. Dorothy and Eto moved to San Mateo and remained there until they passed.Dorothy, along with Ed had a very active social life – in fact you could actually call them the “Party Dolls”. They were blessed with a wonderful group of friends and a weekend did not go by where they were not involved in some sort of social activity. In the last 4 years of her life, Dorothy still remained social with her remaining friends, even though she always said it was not the same without Eto being with her. In the same time period she joined a grief support group where she met a circle of friends who remained with her to the end, attending dinners together once a week.As everyone knows, Dorothy was known for her kindness and often cantankerous ways – the woman loved a good argument – especially as it related to politics!! We can’t forget that she was also known as a stylish, classy lady!We will miss you Mom, Dorothy, Grandma and GG – you will always remain in our hearts.
