Doria Eaker's Obituary
Doria Ann Eaker, age 79, of Redwood City, California passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Doria was born October 4, 1941, in San Francisco California, a daughter of the late John P. Bacigalupi and Jean Julia Duffy. She attended St. Rose High School and City College of San Francisco.
Doria Ann Eaker is survived by her husband Caleb Victor of 59 years of marriage. Her son Scott and daughter-in-law Magda of Santa Maria, daughter Monica and son-in-law Steve of San Mateo, and son Jeff and daughter-in-law Peggy of San Carlos. She was a loving Grandmother to Vanessa, Alexa, Sophia, Caleb, Alyssa, Austin, and Isabella. She also leaves behind her sister Martha Gehre and brother-in-law Steve, in addition to numerous family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
Doria was a member of the Italian American Women’s Guild, worked for the Knights of Columbus Foundation, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends, as well as vacationing with her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time in Tahoe, Disneyland, and Cabo San Lucas. She was an amazing cheerleader by attending her grandchildren’s many sporting events.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Saint Charles Church (880 Tamarack Ave., San Carlos, California, 94070). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
