DeAnn Kitto's Obituary
DeAnn (Nana) Kitto passed away peacefully on September 6, 2023 surrounded by her family at 81 years of age.
She was born on June 5th, 1942, in Dodge City Kansas to James & Audrey Haskell.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life her husband of 64 years Arthur (Art) Kitto,
Her children Little Art, Dori Kitto-Tebo & Connie Kitto.
DeAnn worked at Taft school as teacher’s aide and yard duty and worked at Circle Star Theater as Office Manager. But her greatest joy was her family and being able to stay at home and take care of her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.
She enjoyed going on cruises with her husband and family trips camping, to Disneyland and Hawaii. She never missed anything special such as graduation’s, sporting games, dance shows or birthdays to name a few.
She had a lot of heartache in her life, but you would never know. She was the strongest women with a heart of gold you would ever meet. She always put everyone else’s needs in front of her own. As her family all says, “She is our hero”.
She is survived by her daughter Ardith Kitto-Gutierrez, son in law Rafael Gutierrez, Grandchildren Brandon & Brittany Gutierrez-Kitto, Myles & Kaylee Mitchell and Great Grand Daughter Khloe Mitchell and Baby Dean who will be arriving any day.
At her request there will be a private graveside service.
