Rest in Peace Sweetheart…
More than anything David has been my perennial basketball friend and one of the most open, honest people I have met in my life. Always quick to pitch in and offer help for the kids, we taught art classes together, volunteered at Track meets, and waxed philosophic about schools, kids, and politics from the deck he built overlooking the Bay while the boys traded piano melodies. I have loved each of our conversations because of how heart-full his positions were. I have been inspired by his architectural creativity. He sought to do good work and then he reflected. Always with a question and a smile, he made me laugh and was a joy to be around. He has made my life richer for having known him. I hope he knew with absolute certainty that Sachiko and Kai would be well cared for by the community that he has served so selflessly. Much love, Beth Injasoulian
I always remember David as a very friendly person always smiling and willing to go above and beyond to help. Rosa Maria
David helped us with Art lessons at North Star in Kai’s grade. He was one of the few fathers to step forward in this role. When I learned he was an architect, he deep knowledge of design and art made sense. He was always willing to share his talent and his love of art with others. He loved creativity and loved Kai and Sachiko. He was a joyous person who liked simple beautiful things. Sachiko and Kai, I am so sorry for your loss. Kim Freitas
