Daisy Esmerelda Ramstetter's Obituary
Daisy Esmeralda Ramstetter, resident of San Francisco, CA, daughter of Gilberto Espinosa and Ofelia Pfaeffle, passed away peacefully in her home and in her sleep on Oct 2, 2017 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was 84 years old.She was born 6/24/1933 in Managua, Nicaragua, and immigrated to the US in 1959. She married two years later to Jose Humberto Gonzalez and had three boys. She worked tirelessly to raise her children and make a life for herself in America, never allowing the language barrier to stand in her way. She learned English and became a naturalized citizen in the eighties. After divorcing amicably she remarried to Paul August Ramstetter in 1987.Her last employment before retiring was for the Becktel Corp. where she worked for 18 years as a claims examiner. Upon retiring she continued to work with her husband Paul with their successful home run businesses. Selling jewelry and running a videography business they made a life for themselves and her children.She is survived by her three sons Henry Gonzalez and his spouse Alana Bernath Gonzalez, Humberto Jose Gonzalez, and Gilberto Jose Gonzalez; three grandchildren, Mariano Gonzalez, Charli Rees Gonzalez and Lennox Lee Gonzalez.; three step children Greg Ramstetter, Laura Pierce and Anne Wenzel Ramstetter; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and by two sisters Ofelia E De Molina and Argentina Araica.
