I’ve known Curt since 1979 when we were both flying for Pan Am in Honolulu. Many of us went to United Airlines on Pac Day February 11, 1986 when Pan Am sold its Pacific flying to United…coincidentally, Curt passed on the 37th anniversary of Pac Day, February 11, 2023.
He survived the horrific United flight 811 747 accident out of Honolulu in 1989, when the cargo door broke off after takeoff, and 9 passengers lost their lives.
Curt was an intelligent, funny, gentle soul. He always seemed to have a mischievous, gleem in his eye, followed by a chuckling quip.
Curt has many friends that both love him and will miss him.
