Consuelo San Miguel's Obituary
Consuelo San Miguel (Elo), 74, of Daly City, passed away on Saturday November 6, 2010 in South San Francisco from pneumonia. Born on June 1, 1936 in Rosario, Batangas, Philippines to Mr. Juan Nague & Filomena Calayan, Consuelo grew up with five siblings, Placido, Adelaida, Francisco, Consorcia, and Milagros. She graduated from Rosario East Central School and Padre Vicente Garcia Memorial Acadamy.On May 18, 1958 Consuelo married Benedicto San Miguel at Sta. Mesa Catholic Church. Consuelo was a successful businesswoman having graduated from Philippines College of Commerce, BSBA, Majoring in Accounting. She earned the Muse of Philippines College of Arts and Trade (PCAT) and many designations, awards and other recognitions. She was an active member of the Litton Mills and the Rotary Club of Lucena North. She resided in De Castro Homesite, Rosario Pasig City, Market View Subdivision, Lucena City, in the Philippines and most recently, Lycett Circle in Daly City, CA where she became a member of the St. Augustine Parish Church in South San Francisco. Consuelo enjoyed bowling, swimming, watching her favorite TV series and dancing. She is survived by her loving husband Benedicto San Miguel, Daly City, CA, children Redentor & Raqual San Migual, Jan Estrella & Virgilio Fuentes, Benedicto Jr. & Joselyn San Miguel, Belinda & Rogelio De Vera, Sherwin & Mayden San Miguel, and grandchildren Christopher San Miguel, Glenn Ian San Miguel, Jane Esther San Miguel, Javi Fuentes, Jeremy Fuentes, Jeffrey Fuentes, Jeric Fuentes, Harriet Monica San Miguel, Michael Aubrey San Miguel, Kristel Joy San Miguel, Jorel & Jerald De Vera, Shermaine San Miguel, and Seth San Miguel.A viewing will be held on Friday November 12, 2010 at 9:00a.m.until 1:30p.m. at the Lifemark Center at Skylawn Memorial Park. Consuelo will be laid to rest at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo. A reception will be held following the services at Hoikado Buffet & Restaurant, San Mateo.Thank you to all of our family and friends for your time and sympathy.Gone but not Forgotten, your love and memories will stay forever.
