Constance A. Reid's Obituary
Constance Arden Reid (nee Plath) passed away the evening of December 2nd 2018.Conni was born November 14th, 1938 in Oakland California to Herbert and Elsie Plath and lived in Pescadero and San Francisco until the 4th grade. She met her future husband Michael in the 6th grade in Burlingame, whom she married in 1958 in Belmont, the town they eventually raised their 2 children, Kristi and Jeff.Conni was a homemaker and mom while become a locally known ceramist and potter. Her clay pottery-ware was locally well known and exhibited at many Peninsula art shows. As her children grew, she tried her hand at residential real estate, earning top producer awards for consecutive years in the 1980s. Later, when her husband retired from the Sheriffs department, she employed him as her real estate partner for another 15 years.Mike passed away 3 years ago, and Conni was just not the same without him, her Prince Charming as she once said.Conni is survived by her sister, Lani Burch in Miranda, Ca, her children, Kristen Hildebrandt in Belmont and Jeff Reid in New York, and her grandchildren Samantha and Kurt Hildebrandt in Belmont
