Claire Mae Beard's Obituary
Claire Mae Beard, age 93, of Huntington Beach, CA passed away on January 22, 2016. Claire was born in Correll, Minnesota on September 13, 1922, She graduated from Graceville High School in 1940. She then continued her education with the U.S. Navy beginning in September of 1943.Claire met and married Linville Moad Beard on April 8, 1944 while they both served in the Navy during WWII; they were married 35 years.Claire is survived by two daughters, Linette Dale and Patricia Hitchcock, as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linville Moad Beard in July 1979.The family of Claire Mae Beard wishes to thank the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
