Samuel was born in Shanghai, China on June 2, 1926. His father was Heng Lin Lee, who owned an electrical hardware store in Shanghai, China. His Mother was Tse Lan Wang. She died when Samuel was 7 years old.1948 Samuel came to Taiwan when he was 22 years old and he worked in ~ Taiwan Cement Company ~ China Fishery Company ~ Export Trade Zone in Kaohsiung, Taiwan 1953 Married to Shirley Chen1972 ~ 1982 Deputy Trade representative in Trade Mission of ROC in Singapore for 10 years (age 44 – 54) 1983 ~ 1984 Trade representative to Seoul, Korea for a year when he was 55 1984 ~ 1987 Trade Counselor to the Embassy of ROC in Paraguay for 4 years (age 56 – 59) 1988 ~ 1990 Taiwan International Trade Bureau for 3 years in Taiwan (age 60 – 62) 1990 ~ 1992 Trade Promotional organization for 2 years in Taiwan (age 62 – 64) 1992 ~ 1996 Trade Counselor for 4 years in Nigeria for four years (age 65 – 68) 1997 Samuel and wife Shirley moved from Taiwan to Campbell, CA (age 70)Samuel expired on August 29th, 2014 at age 86.A younger Samuel always strived for the best in his career. He loved to read histories of the worlds greatest leaders. Honor was always the prime objective in his life.Favorite things to do included meeting friends at the senior center for lunch, and spending the weekends with his kids.He had five children: Frederic is in Brazil, Jeff & John are in Taiwan, Steve and Tricia are in the Bay Area, U.S. During his lifetime he had been a very faithful Christian, and he had made his entire family to accept Jesus as the only savior.
