Chen Chou Lee's Obituary
Mr. Chen Chou Lee (李振周先生), Aug 2, 1926 – March 29, 2025, was born in Jinyoun county, Zhejiang province, China, son of a medical Doctor and Pharmacist. He is the 4th elder child in a family of eight children. After graduated from school, he started a job at Shanghai in 1948 and met his future wife (Hsi Ho Lee) there. Both of them moved to Wuhan later while Hsi Ho (who is one year younger) continued the schoolwork. In October 1949, they relocated to Taiwan Pingtung, then lived in Tainan. In March 1950, both public-certified the marriage. He landed a job in Taiwan Sugar Company. In 1957 the young family moved to Taipei, Taiwan. They have three children, Gloria, Marian, and Benjamin. From 1959 to 1969, he managed the IBM mainframe data processing unit for the company. In 1970, with two business partners, they founded a computer software company to help customers managing information system across private and government sectors. In 1986, he retired from business and moved to Bay Area California. He likes photographing and attended Home of Christ church in San Jose. Both of them became Christian since early 1990s. On March 29, 2025, Mr. Chen Chou Lee passed away at age 99, one year after his wife, with peace and much memory and appreciation from the beloved family, relatives, and friends.
