Chase Poole's Obituary
With great sadness we announce that Chase Poole, 40, of Woodside, California, passed away on September 30, 2022.
Chase was born in Victoria, Texas on August 25, 1982 to Alexis and Joe Poole. He graduated from David Crockett High School in Austin,Texas in 2000 as a member of the Central Texas Boys All-District Basketball Team and was named the Central Texas Player of the Year. He received a full scholarship to play at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California where he earned All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention in 2001 and was co-captain of the 2003-2004 team. Chase graduated with a degree in business in 2004 and moved to Seattle where two of his four children were born. For the last thirteen years Chase lived with his family in Woodside, California.
Chase loved volunteering as a coach for his children’s sports teams. He enjoyed watching and playing sports, barbecuing by the pool, communicating through texts with gifs, and spending quality time with his family.
Chase is survived by his children James, Olivia, Elliot, and Lucy and their mother Karen, his sisters Cullen and Ashley and her family, his parents Alexis and Joe, a large extended family, many cherished friends, and his sweet dog Beyoncé.
A memorial will be held at Woodside Village Church on November 5th at 2pm. All are welcome to attend.
