Charles Douglas (Stonewall) Jackson June 6, 1942-July 8, 2009 Passed away peacefully in God’s care on July 8, 2009 at the age of 67. Born in Atlanta, GA. Charles Douglas grew up in San Francisco, attended Polytechnic High School, served in the US Army and then attended City College. He was a devoted brother, father, grandfather and husband. He enjoyed sports, traveling, adventure and spending time with his family. He touched many lives with his enchanting spirit and loved helping in the development of the children around him. He is survived by his wife Joni; his four children Charles, Eric, Angela and Tyrell. His three sisters Dorothy, Juanita and Shelia; three step kids; nine grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, son in-law, daughter in-laws and friends Friends may visit Sunday after 3pm and are invited to attend the Quiet Hour 5pm to 6pm at DUGGAN’S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Homegoing celebration for Charles Jackson will be celebrated on Monday, 11am at Evergreen Baptist Church, 6270 3rd Street, San Francisco. Burial to follow at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo.
