There was no one like "The Dutchess". We've never known anyone who would cover the morning periodicals from page one through to the end of the print. Seated at her table, you were her family for the moment and were treated as such by both her and Marty. The "Thank yous" and gratitude and acceptance will always be remembered. Adieu, Dutchess. Although we met Catherine later in her years, we feel so blessed to have done so. Her kindness, her demeanor, and her genuine way about her told us so much. She was pleasant to be around, and we admired her calm nature. You could tell that she was an intelligent women who thought through life, her activities, and her devotion to her family. She will certainly be missed by so many, but will leave wonderful memories and history for all that were fortunate enough to have spent time with her throughout the years.
