Carol Rust's Obituary
Our Beloved Mother entered this world on June 10th, 1939; she was born on a farm in Marquette County, WI. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mable Ploenzke.
In 1961, she married Clarence (Tiny) Ryan and had three daughters, they found their way to California and she worked at El Camino Hospital in the Admitting Department for the next 35 years.
In 1981, she married Dwayne (Rusty) Rust and our family grew with the addition of his son Ron and Daughter Barbara. Mom and Dwayne enjoyed, going on drives to Laughlin, Reno, boating on the Delta, Fishing and camping.
After Dwayne’s passing and mom’s retirement, she moved to Arizona in 2004. She enjoyed water aerobics, casino trips, card games, the Awesome Ahwatukee Ladies Group, and many holidays and special occasions with the Biegler/Boerio families.
Mom had the opportunity to spend quality time with Kevin and Deejay in Citrus Springs, FL; following a fall and complications, she passed away on January 22, 2025.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and Son-in-laws, Debbie Ryan, Bruce McCartney, Deejay and Kevin McNamara, Dawn and John Boerio. Step son and Daughter-in-law Ron and Stephanie Rust, Step Daughter, Barbara, Her Sister and Brother-in-Law, Judy and Fred Pingle and Sister Sandra Heifner. She will be dearly missed by the many people’s lives she touched.
