Carol A. Archer's Obituary
Carol Archer, loving mother and admired teacher, and longtime resident of Burlingame, California, passed away November 21st, 2022 at the age of 76. Born on June 5, 1946 in Pasadena, California, Carol grew up crisscrossing the States with her mother Kay and step-father Alex, a hotelier who managed some of the country’s most beautiful resorts. Her interest in nursing at the University of Oregon turned into a dedicated career in San Mateo County as a Special Education teacher and Speech Therapist for more than three decades. Carol spent her windy summers and foggy nights at Candlestick Park as an usher for her beloved San Francisco Giants. She cherished the sun, the sea, sailing, skiing, socializing, and her sons. A generous woman with an open heart and open door for those in need. Carol was preceded in death by her sister Kathy and brother Bill. She is survived by her brother Dan Murphy, her boys Douglas Archer and Christopher Archer, and her two granddaughters Ella and Alle Archer.
Burial services will be held at 10am on Monday, December 5th, 2022 at Skylawn Cemetery in San Mateo.
