Carmen López, age 77,Immigrated to California from the small town of Aguililla, Michoacan in México in October, 1976 to join her husband, Guadalupe Lopez who was here working to make a better life for them and their family.A hardworking, honest woman, she did not shy away from a challenge. By leaving her country she was faced with a new language, culture, and environment. Together with her husband, they managed to make it work and raise 9 successful children. She always worked hard to provide for them and sacrificed many things to have her children be well.Carmen was a loving mother of 9 children and grandmother to 23 grandchildren and leaves a legacy of love and compassion to her family and all she would meet and encounter.Her passing (November 11, 2019) was caused by a recent fall that exposed other medical issues that caused irreparable infections in her body. She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Lopez.We appreciate the outpouring of love and kindness of those who have joined us in our pain and sorrow. We will always love our mamá, abuelita, tía and more. May God hold closely in heaven and may her spirit live always in our hearts.Rest In Peace.Carmen López, 77 años,Emigró del pequeño pueblo de Aguililla, Michoacán en México a Estados Unidos en octubre de 1976, para reunirse con su esposo Guadalupe López, quien ya se encontraba trabajando aquí buscando mejorar su vida y la de su familia.Una mujer honesta y trabajadora, no rehuyó al desafío de abandonar su país, enfrentándose a un nuevo idioma, cultura y entorno. Junto con su esposo, lograron que funcionara y criaron a 9 exitosos hijos/as. Ella trabajó siempre esforzadamente para mantenerlos y sacrificó lo necesario para que sus hijos estuvieran bien.Carmen fue una madre amorosa de 9 hijos y la abuelita querida de 23 nietos. En ellos deja un legado de amor y compasión, así como en todos los que la conocerían en vida tanto familiares y amigos.Su fallecimiento (11 de noviembre de 2019) fue causado por problemas médicos e infecciones irreparables en su cuerpo. Le sobreviven su esposo Guadalupe López, sus hijos/as y familiares.Apreciamos las muestras de amor, cariño y bondad de todos aquellos que se han unido a nosotros en nuestro duelo y tristeza. Siempre amaremos a nuestra adorable Carmen por ser tan cariñosa con nosotros.Que Dios la tenga en su gloria y que su espíritu viva siempre en nuestro corazón.Descanse en paz.
