Carmen Durastanti's Obituary
Carmen estrellado durastanti “Chiquita banana” born November 4, 1931 has left her loved ones to cherish each day without her. On June 30th 2017 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer her soul was set free. Though this disease ravaged her body over this past year, her love for life was a fire that could not be extinguished. Her spirit tenacious and was that of no other. Carmens vivacious way of living was captivating and infectious. To be around her was to be engulfed in her energy which left you wanting more. To the people who had the honor of knowing Carmen, they are aware there will be no replacement. Carmen, thank you for being you, you will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mission hospice in Carmens name would be greatly appreciated for they were a great help to the family in a time of much need.
