Beverly June Klinkefus' Obituary
Beverly was born to Ralph and Edna Klinkefus and her early part of life was spent on a farm. She attended County school and graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1955. She married Robert Boren in January 1957 and to this union four children were born; Michelle, Scott, Misty & Andrea. This marriage ended in divorce. Beverly worked for the County for approximately 25 years. She enjoyed architecture, flowers, crossword puzzles, and was the “Queen of Jeopardy.”Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, Billy and Garlan; and her oldest daughter, Michelle.She is survived by her children Scott Boren of Sunnyvale, Misty Boren of San Jose, and Andrea Boley (Joey) of Salisbury, NC. Grandchildren are Shauna Thomas of Las Vegas, Steven and Robbie Thomas of San Jose, Billy Thomas of San Jose, Kayla, Kristen, and Kelly Boley of Salisbury, NC. Great granddaughters are Nova and Hailey. Three nephews Lonnie, Billy, and Jeff and her oldest sister Nadine who resides in Colorado.Bev will be sadly missed by her relatives and friends and by the Public Defender Family, especially her investigators.May the roses in Heaven be ever in bloom for this wonderful woman.Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Las Palmas Park, 850 Russet Dr. in Sunnyvale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rose Gardens in San Jose, CA.
