Beverly A. Ginsberg's Obituary
Born St. Paul, Minnesota 1924. The elder of two daughters of William and Mary Avrick.In 1945, she married her college sweetheart, Dr. Robert Ginsberg, who predeceased her in 1991.After moving from St. Paul, they lived in Rochester, Minnesota while her husband took his surgical training at the Mayo Clinic.After moving from Minnesota, they raised their three daughters in California. Beverly resided in Los Altos Hills for over 40 years before moving to Palo Alto in 2005.She was a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota with a major in Fine Arts. From early childhood she maintained a lifetime interest in many fields of design. Most of all she enjoyed being with family and friends, attending the theatre, symphony, and art museums. Beverly was an avid bridge player, attaining the rank of Life Master in 1974, and continued to enjoy the game for the rest of her life.She is survived by her three beloved daughters Dorothy, Lynne and Robin Ginsberg and two loving grandchildren, Katherine and William Torrey.
