Betty B. Street's Obituary
Betty Street died peacefully on December 26th, 2020, after a sudden illness. She was born in San Diego, CA, to parents Enolia W. Brown and Harold W. Brown. Betty grew up in the greater San Diego area and was a graduate of Sweetwater High School. In 1951, she married her true love Virgil L. Street, and together they raised four children. Betty moved to Northern CA with her daughters, where she eventually retired as Operations Manager for the San Jose office of Laidlaw Transportation. In retirement, Betty loved to garden, craft, and play cards but mostly, spending time with her loved ones. She never let a day go by without telling them how much she loved them and offering an endless supply of hugs and kisses. We will miss her adventurous spirit and the quirky little smile she would display when she felt sassy and ready for a debate. Betty is survived by her children, Gay, Lori, David, and Robert.
