Betty Sue Brewer's Obituary
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and glamourous country girl from West Virgina PROVERBS 31: 10-30 (summarized) Who shall find a strong woman? Her value is far above anything else. Her husband can trust her, and she greatly enriches his life. She comforts, encourages, and does only good all the days of her life. With love, she toils in seeking out resources and sustenance, skillfully works them with her hands. She is made like a merchant’s ship abounding with treasure, that bears its bread from afar. She rises before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work. She carefully considers purchases and investments, and she uses her profits to expand her household. She quips herself with strength of every type; she is an energetic, strong, and hard worker. She makes sure her dealings are profitable; her lamp burns late into the night and she is always prepared for what lies ahead. She opens her hands to the needy, and stretches forth her hands to the poor. She shall not have fear for her household concerning the cold and the snow; for all belonging to her are clothed with double clothes. Strength and dignity are her clothing; and she shall laugh at tomorrow and she shall laugh on the last day, as she did on this day.She opens her mouth with wisdom; and the law of love and of kindness is upon her tongue. She beholds the paths of her house; and she does not sit idly. Her husband and children rise up, and call her most blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired). Many women have gathered in riches, but she has surpassed them all.Charm and grace are deceptive, and superficial beauty will not last. But a woman such as this, who reveres the Lord, she shall be praised.
