Besat Edraki's Obituary
Besat Shahnaz Edraki was born on May 8th 1943 in Qazvin, Iran to Baha’i parents. She was the youngest of eight children. She married Jahangir Edraki at the age of 18 and had two children, Babak and Bita. In 1976, the Edraki family immigrated to the United States where she received her degree in interior design and floral arrangement. She worked as a florist and for many years had her own floral design business. In 2005, she lost her husband. On October 6th 2017 she passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by two children, four grandchildren, a sister, and four brothers.She was the epitome of kindness and grace and had a positive impact in the lives of all who interacted with her.
