A-Yuen Chen's Obituary
A-Yuen Chen, aged 87, of San Jose died at San Jose on December 22, 2011. He was born September 21, 1924 in Taoyuan, Taiwan, to Wen-Jin Chen and Fu Lai. He attended and graduated High School. In 1948, he was married to Chin-Hua Cheng in Taipei. A-Yuen Chen worked as a telecommunication engineer in Taipei for more than 45 years. During these years, he gained the respect of his colleagues and friends not only through his work ethic, but also through his commitment in helping others. After retirement, he frequently traveled between Taiwan and the United States. As a hobby, he often went fishing with his sons and grandchildren. A-Yuen Chen worked diligently and honestly in his career to provide for his family, including his wife, siblings, and children. His selflessness has influenced his children to do the same for their families. A-Yuen Chen is survived by his children, Ming-Liang Chen, Tien-Chi Chu, Ming-Chun Chen, Yueh-Chin Yang, Max Cheng, Lily Cheng, Kevin Chu, and Grace Chu, and his grandchildren, Ann Chen, Bill Chen, Cindy Chen, Brian Chen, Sean Cheng, Shawna Cheng, April Chu, and Teresa Chu. Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather,Will forever remain in our hearts and our minds.Love, Respect and Responsibility.
