Arthur Carl Lindgren's Obituary
Mr. Arthur Carl Lindgren, born on March 4, 1918 in San Francisco CA, entered into Rest on Tuesday August 11, 2009 in Redwood City, CA. His beloved wife Eleanor preceded Arthur in death, and his two children survive him. Arthur was a graduate of Balboa High School Class of 1937; he belonged to the YMCA, the Sierra Club, he worked for the San Francisco Chronicle for 30 years. Arthur held memberships with the Teamsters Union, the International Nash Automobile Club and the local Nash Auto Club. He was an excellent ballroom dancer with Reilly Associates in Menlo Park for 15 years. His hobbies included gardening, raising Koi and playing the trumpet. The family invites you to attend his Memorial Service on Wednesday August 19, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Lifemark Center located on the Skylawn Memorial Park Cemetery grounds, Highway 92 at Route 35 in San Mateo, California (650) 349-4411.
