Argentina J. Toti's Obituary
Argentina Jane Toti, of San Mateo, passed away on October 25, 2013 at the age of 87. Jane was born on January 02, 1926 in Sanger, California and was later raised in San Francisco. She completed her education at Mission High of San Francisco and married Tirreno Toti and settled in San Mateo, California. Jane loved all of her family, relatives, and the many friends she had come to know over the years. She was especially proud of all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jane was an active member of the Crystal Springs Children’s Home Society, where she participated in the making of special crafts for the annual holiday sales event and donated much of her time toward activities for children in need. Jane will be deeply missed by many. Her well-known kindness and “Nonnie” skills, such as cooking up many holiday Italian feasts and family Sunday dinners, will never be forgotten. Jane is survived by her immediate children; Nancy Mistretta (Al), Pamela O’Hara (Bill), Anthony Toti (Cris), and grandchildren Jim Mistretta (April), Kelly O’Hara, Andy O’Hara (Christina), Alex Hutchinson, Julia Toti, and great grandchildren Nicholas Rose, Bailey Mistretta, and Drew O’Hara. The Toti Family would like to give special thanks to Jane’s caregiver, Song Flores, for her support and dedication over the last year.Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 05, 2013 at 11:00 am at Skylawn Memorial Park (skylawn.com) in San Mateo. A reception will follow. Jane’s family asks that contributions in her name be made to the Children’s Home Society of California (http://www.chs-ca.org/you-can-help/remembrance-gifts/) or the charity of your choice.
