Annabelle Curtis' Obituary
Annabelle Curtis, age 82, died on Jan 12, 2012.A long time resident of San Mateo County. Annabelle was born in 1929 in Iola KS. She moved with her family at about age 12 to Vallejo CA where her parents worked at Mare Island Shipyard during the WWII years. In her adult years she had worked for GTE Lenkurt and Cal State Hayward, retiring in 1991.Annabelle had a lifelong love of gardening and could make anything grow and flourish. Her favorite flowers were iris and she also loved cactus. Her other passion was planning family gatherings whether impromptu BBQ’s or setting a formal table for the holidays with all the trimmings and festive decorations. She also loved baseball, camping and fishing, and geneology research.She is survived by children: Dave Curtis of Redwood City CA and Sheary Elder of Fernley NV; grandchildren: Christianne and Michael Pearson of Redwood City and sister: Joan McMaster of Manteca, CA.
