Ann Brenes-Hagan's Obituary
Ann Brenes-Hagan, known as Anita, was born in Leon, Nicaragua. Daughter of the late Silvestre and Rosa Brenes, she resided in San Francisco since 1951. She passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. She is survived by her daughters Laurie Guthrie and Deborah Hagan, brother Antonio (Tony), sister Maria, sister-in-law Sonia; nephews Tony Jr., Mark and Oscar Jr; grandchildren Andres, Monique, Christopher and Natalie; many cousins; five great-grand children, three grand-nephews, and her little friend Naomy. Family members remember her as: feisty, loving, proud, strong, stubborn, self-dependent, kind, unique, charismatic, funny, loyal and forgiving. She leaves many friends she loved dearly. Friends and family will miss her dearly, especially her brother Tony. May she rest in peace. Dios te tiene en la Gloria. Viva Leon Jodido!!
