Ani Kizirian Bazigian's Obituary
Ani was born on April 9, 1935, in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Serop and Maritza Kizirian, survivors of the Armenian Genocide from Kharpert, Armenia. She shared a loving and devoted marriage of 62 years with her husband, Paul Bazigian, until his passing in 2019. She is survived by her children, Lesley (Charles Kissick) and Craig (Susie Thompson), and her cherished grandchildren, Ani, Leah, Lauren, and Holly.
Ani received an AA degree at Becker College in Worcester in 1955 and began her career as a teacher before following her creative spirit to become a fine jewelry designer and business owner. For over 40 years, she created beautiful pieces with care and artistry. She had a lifelong love of the arts, music, and reading, and was known for her elegance, creativity, and warm, welcoming nature.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Ani was a devoted member of the Armenian Apostolic Church, where she sang in the choir for many years and found great joy in its sacred music. She was also a dedicated member of the Daughters of Vartan San Francisco Chapter for 28 years, serving her community with quiet strength and commitment.
Ani loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. She will be remembered for her grace, kindness, strength, and the love she so freely gave to others. She will be deeply missed by her many dear friends and extended family.
