Anh Tu's Obituary
Anh Tu, 98, of San Leandro, Ca. passed away peacefully on the morning of May 30th, 2025 after a brief illness and hospice. Anh was born on July 1, 1927 in Chaozhou, China and emigrated to South Vietnam at the age of 9. She was the proud matriarch of her family having raised 10 children over the span of several decades in Saigon and later immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1986.
She is survived by her 8 children: Sandy (Nhi), Fallon (Le Nhi), Tina (Nhi Tich), Virginia (Hue), Steve (Chanh), Jack (Quang), Vincent (Vinh), and Tony (Nhien) along with 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Anh will be forever remembered for her love of her family, her affection for classic Nintendo games, and incredible cooking. Her family are incredibly fortunate and grateful to have had Anh as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will miss her deeply.
The family truly appreciates the love and support they’ve received during this time.
A memorial will be held on Sunday, June 8th at 11-2pm followed by a burial on Monday, June 9th at 10-11am at Skylawn in Half Moon Bay.
