Andrew Robert Talbot's Obituary
Andrew “Andy” Talbot, 61, of Saratoga, California, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Palo Alto, California.
Andy was born in San Jose, California, to Bob and Diane Talbot. He earned his MBA from San José State University, combining his sharp intellect with a genuine passion for business, which led to a successful career as a futures trader.
On November 8, 2021, Andy married Melanie Enman, marking the beginning of a deeply meaningful partnership built on love, respect, and a shared enjoyment of life and adventure.
Andy will be remembered for his joyful spirit and the way he made life brighter for everyone around him. He was happy, funny, and smart, with a deep kindness that defined who he was. He was known for speaking kindly of others—a rare and admirable quality.
He lived life fully and with enthusiasm. Andy was a general aviation pilot with a lifelong passion for flying, a love of poker, and a deep appreciation for athletics and the outdoors. Whether skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, or traveling, he embraced every experience with energy and excitement.
To those closest to him, Andy was more than his accomplishments—he was a constant source of light. He will be remembered as an honest and deeply kind man who truly loved to laugh. His warmth, positivity, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Andy is survived by his wife, Melanie Enman; his sister Wendy Talbot and her husband Bob Bowling, and their children Josh Bowling and Deanna Bowling; his brother Greg Talbot and his daughter Alexandra Talbot Peterson; his beloved dog, Harry; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
A graveside service will be held on April 3rd at 2:00 PM at Skylawn Memorial Park, 888 Lifemark Road, Half Moon Bay, California and a Celebration of Life will be held in early May in the San Jose area.
