Andrew Kwok-Lau Fung's Obituary
Andrew Fung, aged 76, of San Mateo, CA died at home on Friday, January 17, 2025, after a 5-year battle with lung cancer.
He was born on January 13, 1949, in Hong Kong, to Fung Chun Kau and Tam Yuen Kee. Andrew attended Fok Dak Primary School, College of San Mateo, and San Jose State University, was married to Amelia Fung for many joyful years before she passed away in 2011 and made big contributions to the chemical engineering industry.
Andrew is survived by his son (Gregory), daughter (Andrea), and four grandchildren (Katie, Emily, Jackson, and Bennett).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Skylawn Funeral Home (888 Lifemark Rd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019). You will be able to arrive as early as 10:00 am for the viewing. and attend the burial on site at 2:00 pm.
Please join us for refreshments in the Vista Room (at Skylawn) immediately following the service from 2:00-4:00 pm.
