Amie Louise Linney's Obituary
Amie Linney, 34 passed away February 3, 2015. The only daughter of the late Leslie Ann Linney-Anthony, survived by her brother Wayne Anthony. Amie embodied a spirit of rebellious determination. Despite innumerable barriers throughout her life, she died pursuing her dreams. Amie rarely shared her feelings, but her love for animals was on constant display. An accomplished veterinary technician, she dreamed to become a veterinarian. Amie, suffered heart ache after the loss of her mom as they were extremely close. She was a constant protector of her younger brother Wayne while growing up and was known for protecting him from bullies when they were kids. She was a great sister and daughter. Amie was loved and adored by her uncle, four aunts, grandparents, many cousins and extended family.Amie, often quiet and sometimes shy, was an avid reader, enjoyed raising parakeets, was extremely creative, good at drawing and had a unique style to her appearance. She had a huge soft spot for cats and kittens and volunteered weekly at Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County.A final blessing, memorial. internment and luncheon will be held in Amie’s honor: MARCH 6, 2015 at 11:30am – at Skylawn Memorial Park Hwy 92 at Skyline Blvd. San Mateo, Ca. (650) 349 4411.Not only did Amie have the love and adoration of her mom, brother, uncle and aunts she was loved, supported and well thought of in communities within Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa. We would like to thank you, her many friends, for reaching out and supporting her through these past few years. We are touched by the kindness, love and support provided to Amie. In lieu of flowers, Amie’s family requests donations be made to Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County.
