I was there the day she was born. I was her Mom’s Lamaze coach. She decided to come into this world on a Super Bowl Sunday. Amanda didn’t care, she tried to take her time but the Doc (and her Mom) weren’t having it and she was ultimately delivered by c-section. (Still wonder if the Doc actually got to see the game.) She was a very pretty baby with big blue eyes and a very sweet little toddler. My deepest condolences to all who loved and cared about her. May you take comfort in knowing the love you gave her throughout her life was what she was able to take with her when she left this life for the next one.
I have known Amanda for nearly 30 years. She was always such a fun , spunky child, very smart and mature for her age. I have touched bases a few times later in life with her. I pray that God gives you comfort Lauren. May you Rest In Peace Amanda , you will never be forgotten sweet girl .
I met Amanda when she was 13 or 14 and I was 16. I was surprised how young she was because she was so mature. I loved her for her bluntness and sense of humor. Even though our lives took different directions over the years we sent each other messages once in awhile to reconnect. I never forgot what a good friend she was and never will forget her.
I met Amanda about 4 years ago and we had reconnected in rehab by chance and she was such a bright light and wonderful mother. She will be missed.
I have many fond memories of Amanda. My favorite was the day her daughter was born.
She was so pretty and brave and lovingly attentive to her newborn.
